Black and red

My verrrry first gouache painting! God this took me the whole afternoon (I think it was about 5 hours total, though it's tiny!) because I've never worked with gouache before and had a very fixed idea of how it's supposed to look. If I had done the same thing in photoshop it might have been an hour, maximum -.- but well, the joys of traditional art. There's just nothing like the smell of paint and the feeling of a paintbrush in your hand.
